How it works
Selling a damaged car privately is hard work, and scrapyards rarely pay what it's worth. Selling to us takes days, and there are no fees at any stage.
1. Ask for a valuation
Fill in the valuation form, call us on 0800 206 2208, or send the registration, mileage and a few photos on WhatsApp. Photos of the damage, the dashboard warning lights and any garage report or MOT failure sheet help us make an accurate offer.
2. Get your offer, held for 7 days
We come back to you with a price. There is no pressure to accept on the spot: your offer is held for seven days while you think it over.
3. Free collection anywhere in the UK
Once you are happy, we agree a time to collect the car from your home, workplace or business premises. Collection within the UK is free. Non-runners are collected on a recovery truck at no extra cost.
4. Same-day payment
We check the car matches the description and the paperwork is in order, and you are paid by bank transfer while our driver is with you. We will never ask you to release your car until you are completely happy and the money is in your account. No fees are deducted.
Written off by your insurer?
Tell us the write-off category. We buy Cat S and Cat N cars (and older Cat C and Cat D), repaired or not. Cat A and Cat B cars can't go back on the road, so tell us up front and we'll be honest about whether we can help.
What you will need
- The V5C registration document in your name
- Photo ID such as a driving licence or passport
- All keys, and any service history and receipts you have
- If there is outstanding finance, the settlement figure from your lender
